$17.00/hr - $24.00/hr The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00* The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Team Member: Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the products; collaborates with cross functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicates effectively and develops interpersonal skills for providing customer service; flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas, tracking goods, maintaining in-stock levels, and controlling shrinkage in a timely manner. Expert: Understands the processes and specifications related to quality of various types of produce merchandise (for example, taste, preparation method or use, seasonality); prepares (trim, crisp, package, scale) products according to established standards; maintains product safety and follows sanitation guidelines; adheres to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to produce quality. Techie: Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilizes hand held technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them. Owner: Drives the performance of the area; utilizes digital tools; uses perpetual inventory management techniques to stock and rotate department products; ensures quality and date control standards; eliminates waste; guides peers and provides attention to customer needs; assists customers according to company policies and procedures. Talent Ambassador: Advocates for the department and the club by valuing the member's experience in meat area and modeling high quality service and products; executes the basics at highest possible level of quality; exhibits energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Policy and Compliance: Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; uses the Open Door Policy; and applies these in executing business processes and practices. General duties: Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carries out tasks; communicates progress and information; determines and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapts to and learns from change, difficulties, and feedback.
