Day Shift

Position Summary The Print Finishing & QC Associate plays a key role in ensuring the final output of printed materials meet the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and presentation. This hands‑on position involves performing finishing tasks such as cutting, folding, binding, packaging, and preparing products for shipment, while also inspecting printed materials for defects, verifying order accuracy, and supporting shipping logistics.

Key Responsibilities

Operate finishing equipment (e.g., cutters, folders, binders, laminators) to complete printed jobs

Assemble printed materials according to job specifications and finishing requirements

Perform hand finishing tasks as needed (e.g., inserting, collating, padding)

Conduct quality inspections throughout the finishing process to ensure accuracy, alignment, color consistency, and defect‑free output

Verify orders against job tickets, customer specifications, and sample proofs

Package completed orders securely and accurately, ensuring proper labeling and documentation

Prepare shipments using internal systems and coordinate with shipping carriers as needed

Maintain inventory of finishing and shipping supplies

Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards

Communicate effectively with team members across departments (prepress, print, customer service)

Assist in other production or operational tasks as assigned

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; trade or technical training in print/production is preferred

1–2 years of experience in a print shop, finishing, or manufacturing environment preferred

Familiarity with bindery/finishing equipment and quality control practices

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high‑quality work

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks

Basic computer skills and ability to use production software or tracking systems
