Position overview: The Plant Manager leads Home Energy’s assembly operations at Rehlko’s Hattiesburg Campus, overseeing production strategy, safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance, and is responsible for capital and capacity planning, budgeting, and continuous improvement across all areas of the operation. Responsibilities
Lead assembly operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. Set clear departmental metrics, review performance results, and take corrective action when needed. Plan and oversee production schedules, budgets, and major capital expenditures. Partner with campus maintenance to ensure effective preventive maintenance programs. Lead, coach, and develop Production Supervisors and Manufacturing Engineers, ensuring role clarity and consistent communication across teams. Foster collaboration and alignment with Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, HR, EHS, Maintenance, and CI teams to meet plant goals. Maintain strong daily contact with plant teams, production planning, and other site leaders to review performance and address risks. Collaborate regularly with corporate functions, product engineering, and other Home Energy business partners to improve quality, reduce cost, and share best practices. Champion continuous improvement and process optimization to eliminate waste, increase efficiency, and enhance flexibility. Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements, including the Clean Air Act and related standards. Build external partnerships as needed, including suppliers and other Rehlko manufacturing sites. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related technical field. Minimum of 7 years of manufacturing leadership experience, including at least 3 years in a high-volume or repetitive production environment. Strong leadership background with proven ability to develop and engage teams. Experience managing plant or production performance and leading major improvement or startup initiatives. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future. The Salary range for this position is $129,150.00-$165,000.00.
