Supply Chain Trainees at Saputo assist supply chain departments through areas such as Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Production Planning, Transportation/Logistics, or Cheese Procurement. Trainees identify and support the implementation of cost reduction, network optimization, and process improvement opportunities. How You Will Make Contributions That Matter

Everyday support of the department Contribute to the success of the department by planning for SKUs, routes, categories, or distribution centers Provide Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to leadership Identify and communicate risk (over/shorts/delays) to key stakeholders Evaluate network layout considering ordering quantities, distribution footprint, warehouse costs, transportation costs, and other factors to provide recommendations on optimization of the supply chain Recommendations will cover sourcing flows, stocking points, purchase schedules, and related topics Evaluate customer order patterns, shelf life, lead time, and other factors to establish default stocking recommendations, including make-to-order vs make-to-stock; clarify target quantities and potential reorder quantities for projects You Are Best Suited for The Role If You…

Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Statistics/Mathematics, or Industrial Engineering Have previous internship and/or working experience (preferred) Are analytical and proficient in data management (statistical analysis) Have familiarity with supply chain concepts and software Have familiarity with operational planning and scheduling Possess intermediate Excel skills (e.g., vlookups, pivot tables, if/then) Have previous SAP experience (preferred) Are self-motivated, able to multi-task, and can work independently or as part of a team Demonstrate professionalism and positively represent Saputo Can work scheduled hours and required overtime as needed Display reliability, honesty, respect, attention to detail, and punctuality Can communicate effectively We Support and Care for Our Employees by Providing Them With…
