As a part of our produce team, you’ll make important decisions about the quality of the produce that members and their families eat by ensuring availability, cleanliness and freshness. Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products; collaborate with cross functional teams; educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively; be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas; track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage Be an Expert: Understand processes and specifications related to quality of various types of produce; prepare (trim, crisp, package, scale) products to established standards; maintain product safety and sanitation; adhere to laws, regulations and policies related to produce quality Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience; use handheld technology to make decisions related to production, training, and product quality; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them Be an Owner: Drive area performance; stock and rotate department products using perpetual inventory; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; assist customers per policies Be a Talent Ambassador: Model high-quality service and products; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity Completes work assignments and priorities with managers, coworkers, customers, and other partners; communicate progress; identify priorities and deadlines; adapt to change At Sam's Club, we offer competitive pay as well as performance-based bonus awards and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet.
