Compensation Base pay will be determined by applicant’s skills and experience. The role also offers team-based bonus opportunities. Temporary associates are not benefits‑eligible but may participate in the company’s 401(k) program.

Responsibilities
Utilize a person‑centered approach starting with positive perceptions of aging, building relationships and connections among residents.
Develop a monthly calendar, in partnership with residents, based on residents’ shared interests.
Collaborate with the community leadership team to plan, coordinate, and execute special events at the community, including but not limited to holiday, family, educational, and other marketing events.
Plan and schedule meaningful opportunities for resident engagement outside the community, which may include driving a community vehicle.
Management / Decision Making
Make standard and routine decisions based on detailed guidelines with independent judgment and discretion. Solve problems using clear, detailed guidelines or by reporting them to a supervisor.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Standing; walking; sitting; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Talk or hear; lift up to 50 pounds.
Vision; interaction with co‑workers, residents or vendors.
Occasional weekend, evening or night work if needed to ensure shift coverage.
On‑call as needed.
Possible exposure to communicable diseases, infections; latex; blood‑borne pathogens; various chemical, infectious or biological hazards; injury from falls, burns, odors, or cuts from equipment.
Requires driving (drives residents – Tier 1).
Qualifications
At least one year of direct experience with adults.
Leadership experience and a degree in a related field (therapeutic recreation, gerontology, health care, education, or other related field) preferred.
Valid driver’s license; may need a commercial driver’s license based on community needs.
