Oversee preventive maintenance schedules, coordinating 100+ work orders per week and adjusting for corrective actions. Lead maintenance teams, assigning workloads, coaching mechanics, and ensuring cross-training. Manage vendors and outside services for specialized maintenance and repairs. Monitor CMMS systems (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to track work orders and optimize preventive maintenance. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, maintaining accurate maintenance records, audit files, and safety documentation. Manage facility maintenance budgets, including purchasing parts, equipment, and materials while negotiating vendor contracts. Research and implement new technologies, tools, and strategies to improve equipment performance and facility efficiency. Monitor facility conditions to proactively identify and resolve potential operational issues. Ensure continuous operational improvement in automated control systems and material handling equipment. Qualifications
Minimum 5-7 Years: Experience in a maintenance leadership role, overseeing team performance and operational efficiency. 4+ Years: Experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with CMMS systems for preventive maintenance program implementation. Software Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Flexibility: Ability to work various shifts as needed. Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel for training and facility support. You’ll Go The Extra Mile If You Have
Automation Knowledge: Familiarity with Automated Control Systems and PLC-based material handling systems. High-Volume Experience: 5+ years managing maintenance operations in fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environments.
