Supply Chain Coordinator

HX5 is currently seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator who will support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Redstone Arsenal.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate with suppliers/vendors on orders, deliveries, and shipping schedules, resolving any issues or discrepancies, including return material authorizations (RMAs).
Support purchase planning by liaising with project managers and engineers, and assist with development of cost rough order of magnitude (ROMs) and submitting work orders.
Collaborate with internal buyers to obtain quotes from vendors.
Collaborate with various internal teams (procurement, contracts, finance) and external stakeholders (suppliers/vendors).
Maintain active lines of communication with suppliers/vendors regarding order issues, configurations, and technical issues.
Ensure compliance with all regulations and laws governing supply chain activities.
Analyze supply chain data, identify improvement areas, and prepare reports for management.
Identify and resolve issues within the supply chain, such as delays, shortages, or quality problems.
The Successful Candidate Will
Have excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
Have excellent organizational skills managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Have excellent problem‑solving skills, identifying and resolving issues within the supply chain.
Have excellent analytical skills for analyzing data and identifying improvement areas.
Qualifications
Must have 7 or more years of general (full‑time) work experience.
May be reduced with completion of advanced education.
Must have 5 or more years of directly related experience.
Must have knowledge of Supply Chain Management and Procurement.
Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Desired Requirements
Experience with government contracts under the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) and related regulations.
Experience with supply chain software and familiarity with relevant procurement software and tools.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full‑time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.
Other Position Requirements
Proof of U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residency is required.
Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance by date of hire.
Must be able to travel, including air travel.
Must have a valid Driver’s License.
