PRIMARY FUNCTION The Logistics Analyst I supports the Integrated Logistics Support Department by utilizing engineering, customer, and/or vendor data to develop or modify logistical databases, LSAR reports, and other logistic-based reporting including LORA and MTA.

Clarification Statement This position is not a Supply Chain or Logistics Management role. It is an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) position focused on analysis, planning, development, and sustainment of systems throughout their life cycle. The ILS function ensures that supportability, maintainability, and lifecycle readiness requirements are integrated into system design and execution. This role emphasizes technical publications, provisioning, reliability and maintainability analysis, and other elements of logistics engineering—not procurement, inventory control, or supply chain operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Develop or modify logistical databases based on contractual requirements detailed in the SOW to the applicable governing standard or regulation.

Interpret engineering data necessary for the development of PMR, LORA, and MTA.

Review technical data packages to ensure required information for logistic analysis products is included.

Provide knowledgeable recommendations to project team regarding logistic analysis products.

Support customer-led events including Provisioning Guidance Conferences, Provisioning Conferences, and Verifications.

Conduct research utilizing multiple databases within DLIS and Haystack.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has no supervisory responsibilities. This position has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

Moderate knowledge of SAE-GEIA-STD-0007, SAE-GEIA-HB-0007, and SAE AS1390.

Moderate ability to interpret Department of the Army pamphlets, Army Regulations, military standards, performance specifications, detail specifications, handbooks during the development of logistical products.

Moderate ability to interpret engineering drawings.

Maintain an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) including file version control utilizing SVN and SharePoint.

Moderate analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data and consider impacts across multiple areas with limited information.

Moderate decision analysis and problem-solving skills; ability to draw conclusions and justify decisions.

Moderate ability to perform in high stress situations and handle deadline pressures.

Moderate ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively.

Effectively communicate complex information to team members and customers.

Moderate ability to coordinate and communicate with all team members, including supervisors and management.

Advanced ability to follow corporate, company, and departmental polices, processes, and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

BA / BS degree or enrollment in a full 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's or higher degree and at least four years of task-related experience.

Moderate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat Professional, and logistic database software(s).

Ability to pass background and drug screening.

Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
