Job Description
Business Development Executive - Pharmacology Services Hamilton Township, NJ, USA The Disease Modeling Division of Genesis Drug Discovery and Development (GD3 Services) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our team. This role supports preclinical pharmacology services and models, contributing to expansion of the client base, development of marketing strategies, and fostering long-term customer relationships at the intersection of science, business, and marketing.
Responsibilities
Business Development (BD):
Identify and research potential clients in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and academic sectors with a focus on preclinical pharmacology needs.
Initiate and nurture relationships with key decision-makers through targeted outreach and professional networking.
Develop a deep understanding of GD3 Services offerings and value proposition in preclinical pharmacology models.
Generate and qualify high-potential prospects.
Lead development and execution of BD strategies in collaboration with the GD3 business development and customer relationship management group.
Represent the company at industry conferences and events to identify opportunities.
Marketing:
Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our pharmacology services.
Collaborate with the scientific team to create marketing materials (website content, email campaigns, LinkedIn posts, brochures, presentations).
Manage marketing databases and CRM systems; track campaign performance and provide insights.
In Vivo Pharmacology Study Management:
Research disease models and design pilot studies for proof-of-concept experiments.
Collaborate with clients to generate study plans with appropriate design, controls, animal numbers, and endpoints.
Schedule and oversee study execution with the research team.
AI-Driven Business Development:
Utilize AI tools to identify high-value leads, analyze market trends, and personalize outreach.
Implement AI-driven strategies to enhance BD effectiveness.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM):
Cultivate and sustain strong client relationships; act as a trusted advisor.
Serve as a primary contact for complex client inquiries related to preclinical study design and execution.
Maintain accurate client records in the CRM and ensure timely, professional responses to concerns.
Meeting Coordination:
Schedule, coordinate, and participate in meetings with potential and existing clients (virtual and in-person).
Prepare agendas and materials; follow up on action items.
Quote Generation:
Collaborate with the scientific team to understand project requirements and develop accurate, competitive quotes.
Streamline the quote process to ensure timely delivery to clients.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a biological science, pharmacology, or related field required; Master’s or Ph.D. preferred.
Demonstrated understanding of preclinical pharmacology experiments, in vivo and in vitro models, and the drug discovery process.
Highly motivated, fast learner with strong work ethic and leadership potential.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills; ability to articulate complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Onsite availability is preferred, but not required.
