Roadway Project Manager (Municipal) Jacobs is seeking a driven, passionate Roadway Project Manager to support our growing transportation team in Tennessee. The role focuses on managing a variety of projects from sidewalks and bikeways to large‑scale infrastructure, utilizing your transportation design expertise to lead delivery teams and build client relationships.

Base Pay Range $110,000.00 – $151,890.00 per year

Key Responsibilities

Lead transportation infrastructure projects from conception through final design and construction, including sidewalk, bikeway, highway, drainage, and sitework layout.

Manage project schedules, budgets, and quality, ensuring alignment with client goals and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and maintain strong client relationships, fostering growth in the Tennessee transportation market.

Apply AASHTO and other design standards to roadway and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET‑accredited university.

Minimum five years of documented experience managing transportation projects for municipal DOTs or local governments.

Proficiency with MicroStation, Open Roads Designer, and related transportation engineering analysis and design software.

Strong analytical, time‑management, written, and oral communication skills.

Registration as a Professional Engineer in Tennessee (or ability to attain license within 6 months).

Preferred experience with TDOT design guidelines and standards.
