Fire Alarm Service Technician

Total Fire and Security is seeking a Service Technician to join our team. This full-time position offers competitive pay ranging from $25.00 to $36.00 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities: Test, service, and maintain fire alarm, CCTV, card access, and intrusion systems in compliance with NFPA and NEC codes, with knowledge of system controls, alarm panels, devices, and components. Read and interpret system schematics and wiring diagrams. Troubleshoot and repair system deficiencies. Communicate professionally with customers and team members. Use tools properly to complete service tasks. Complete scheduled service calls and inspections promptly. Participate in on-call rotations for emergency services. Maintain a clean and well-kept company vehicle and safeguard tools. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. NICET II and/or state certification (FAST) required. At least 2 years of experience inspecting, servicing, or installing fire alarm systems. Preferred experience with CCTV, Intrusion, and Card Access systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate computers and read blueprints. Valid driver's license with a good driving record. Additional Details: Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts. Location: Multiple locations.
