About The Role You’ll be responsible for two of Cloudflare’s most critical database infrastructure products: Workers KV and Hyperdrive. Workers KV is a globally distributed key‑value store that enables extremely high read‑volume workloads and sub‑10 ms low‑latency retrievals. Hyperdrive is a distributed connection pooler and query caching service that supports querying Postgres and MySQL databases directly from Cloudflare Workers. This role gives you high agency and accountability as the sole PM for these products, working closely with engineering to ship great developer experiences and drive adoption.

What You’ll Do

Drive the strategy, roadmap, and shipping of products that help developers build reliable, high‑performance full‑stack applications on Cloudflare.

Lead projects from ideation, launch, and ongoing maintenance.

Develop and nurture relationships with engineering and coordinate closely to ensure successful delivery of product features.

Engage developers through BI tools, developer Discord, Twitter, Hacker News, and other community channels to gather feedback and build relationships.

Partner with Product Marketing, Community & Developer Relations, Sales, and Customer Support to drive adoption and collect customer feedback.

Ruthlessly prioritize across a complex environment of diverse customers, stakeholders, and objectives.

Represent the company externally at customer meetings and industry events.

Conduct market research to identify new investment opportunities in the developer space.

Examples Of Desirable Skills, Knowledge And Experience

Outstanding communication and collaboration skills with a proven track record of shipping developer‑facing products.

Experience building end‑to‑end developer experiences, including APIs, UIs, and documentation.

Committed to talking to developers and understanding real problems in production services.

Deep understanding of transactional databases, such as Postgres and MySQL, including connection models and replication.

Comfortable working directly with customers and serving as a bridge between engineering and product.

BS/MS in a technology field and 3–4 years of professional product‑management experience, with a strong technical background.

Programming experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, Rust, Go, or similar, and familiarity with SQL dialects.

Compensation

Bay Area: Estimated annual salary of $166,000–$224,000.

New York City, Washington, D.C., and California (excluding Bay Area): Estimated annual salary of $192,000–$213,000.

Equity This role is eligible to participate in Cloudflare’s equity plan.
