Solution Advisor Associate - SAP Academy for Customer Success - USA (Hybrid) The SAP Academy for Customer Success is a global development program designed for talent who are early in their career. The program provides a structured, 3-year journey that drives accountability, enhances productivity, and leads to a customer-facing role with hands-on experience in SAP solutions. What You’ll Become
A Solution Advisor works closely with customers and prospects to identify and solve business challenges and meet strategic objectives using SAP solutions. As part of the sales team, the Solution Advisor is the subject matter expert responsible for functional and technical knowledge within the sales cycle. The role includes deal support through discovery sessions, executive meetings, and software demonstrations to communicate SAP’s value proposition. The Advisor also participates in marketing events, Design Thinking sessions, and collaboration with the broader sales team to identify whitespace opportunities at existing accounts. What You’ll Do
Successfully complete a 10-month program that strengthens a foundation for a successful, customer-facing career at SAP. Participate in experiential learning opportunities with colleagues from around the world and acquire business, industry, and SAP-solution skills while working with emerging technologies. Receive on-the-job training under the mentorship of a senior Solution Advisor while working with customers to gain real-world experience and guide customers through their Digital Transformation journey. Lead customer discovery sessions and survey activities to uncover business challenges and opportunities for innovation. Create and deliver high-impact software demonstrations that communicate SAP’s value proposition and persuade customers to choose SAP over competitors. Provide demand generation support through marketing events and deal execution support by responding to requests for proposals. Solution Areas Focus
SAP Finance & Spend Management (F&S)
– Knowledge in accounting, procurement, and supplier management, focused on boosting visibility, cutting costs, and improving efficiency. (Accounting, finance, quote-to-cash, procurement, supplier management) SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM)
– Knowledge in Supply Chain, Asset Management, Manufacturing, Logistics, or Product and Project lifecycle management. SAP Customer Experience (CX)
– Knowledge of e-commerce, sales, customer service, and marketing processes SAP Business Transformation Management (BTM)
– Knowledge in Business Process Management/Business Process Automation applications. SAP Signavio & SAP LeanIX What You Bring
2-3 years of professional experience with a strong foundation in technical and business processes, exposure to relevant technologies/solutions, and customer-facing skills. Technical and business process knowledge, with strong complex problem-solving skills to support solution delivery and operational efficiency through hands-on experience with relevant technologies and industry-standard tools. A cooperative and productive approach to working relationships, internally and externally. Strong ability to quickly learn new concepts, adapt to changing environments, and apply knowledge to deliver results. An understanding of AI fundamentals, uses, and ethics to identify business problems solvable with AI. A resilient mindset, embracing challenges with optimism and a commitment to growth and success. Strong business acumen, including demonstrated knowledge of business processes and/or industries. Proficiency in English to engage with our global network. About SAP Academy for Customer Success
The SAP Academy for Customer Success offers a three-year journey that drives accountability and enhances productivity. It enables graduates to make a quick impact in customer-facing roles while fostering career longevity and leadership potential. The program includes a practical, immersive experience with hands-on learning, global collaboration, and competitive pay and benefits. Our hybrid work setup generally includes three days in the office or on-site with customers or partners. We may include a practical component involving in-person activities (for example, a multi-week engagement in San Ramon, California). The final schedule and location will be communicated in advance.
