RE Loan Processing Lead

Overview This position will assist in coordinating loan documents for closing of consumer, commercial, and real estate loan products to ensure full compliance and quality of loan documentation for funding. Resolves loan documentation issues with lending team collaborating on problem solving and process improvements efforts to maintain and continuously improve loan operations policy, procedure, and performance.

Responsibilities

Assist to provide internal approvals for the implementation of all new loans and changes to existing loans.

Act as liaison with all customers regarding loan administration.

Administer everyday work and evaluate all incoming mail, emails, faxes and process payments.

Manage communications between lending officer and customers to resolve all customer issue efficiently.

Be proficient with Laser Pro, the Bank's Core Operation System, Excel and Word.

Assist loan officers with Consumer, Real Estate and Agriculture loans.

Commercial lending per their request.

Prepare loan documents for all lending functions.

Perform day-to-day loan maintenance.

Maintain and organize loan documentation files.

Analyze credit tracking reports.

Perform credit checks and flood checks.

Create loan comments.

Participate in various committee meetings.

Articulate communication, both oral and written.

Ability to break down complex problems and arrive at the right solution.

Ability to architect and drive change by enlisting support of management.

Process In-House Residential loan applications.

Communicate with lenders in all locations with assistance to real estate lending.

Assist in the MPF secondary market loan processing.

This position requires physical presence in the bank.

Travel for trade and industry schools and seminars as needed.

This position may require installation of a Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) app on an employee’s personal mobile device.

Adhere to and comply with all applicable, federal, and state laws, regulations, and guidance, including those related to BSA/AML, as well as adhere to the Bank’s policies and procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned and requested.

Education and Experience

Required – High School diploma or GED.

Required – Continuing Education to maintain job knowledge.

Required – Three to five years of mortgage banking experience.

Preferred – Three to five years of customer service experience.

Preferred – Proficiency in Microsoft Suites.

Preferred – Experience with LaserPro Software.
