Are you known for your leadership skills? Are you passionate about delivering excellent logistics services? If so, we have an opportunity that would allow you to manage the cost efficient movement of shipments and supervise operations personnel. Responsibilities

Manage the cost efficient movement of shipments and operations during assigned shift. Supervise and train customer service, data entry, and/or dispatch and warehouse personnel assigned to the respective shift. Ensure that all personnel are providing a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers. Oversee prompt and accurate completion of all paperwork associated with movement of inbound and outbound shipments. Ensure timely pick-ups, recoveries, deliveries, and airline and agent selection, while maintaining cost controls. Assist in the preparation and approval of rate quotes or shipment costing for internal and external customers. Communicate pending work and/or unresolved problems to the following shift personnel and the operations manager. Accurately manage and maintain departmental administrative tasks such as accounting, reporting and recordkeeping in accordance with internal policies and state and federal regulations. Conduct annual performance reviews for all staff within department and address all employee performance problems promptly and directly in accordance with personnel policies. Requirements

Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Finance or related discipline preferred or equivalent combination of work experience and education. Minimum four years related experience. Minimum two years supervisory or lead experience. Minimum two years of industry experience preferred. Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using units of US and/or international currency, weight, volume and distance measurements. Characteristics: Demonstrated leadership ability. Ability to allocate work assignments and/or responsibilities to others to maximize the organization's and the individual's effectiveness. Customer focused. Ability to make customers and their needs the primary focus; developing and sustaining productive relationships. What We Offer
