Project Manager-Ecological Risk Specialist Full Time Regular Professionals Robbinsville, NJ, US

Sovereign Consulting Inc. seeks an Ecological Risk Assessment Specialist with 5+ years of ecological risk assessment experience in the Mid-Atlantic Region, Experience in New Jersey is a plus. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing ecological risk assessment services for a broad range of projects and mentoring junior staff in the risk assessment process.

Responsibilities:

Lead most ecological risk evaluations and assessment efforts.

Direct oversight of junior staff working on ecological evaluation and risk assessment

Mentoring staff on the risk assessment process.

Support other staff in sample plan development

Support in data review and management

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, ecological sciences, environmental toxicity, mathematics or related discipline, (Master’s degree is a plus).

Minimum 5 years of experience performing ecological risk assessment modeling and report writing.

Experience with ecological screening criteria and application of the criteria

Experience with exposure pathway assessment

Experience with toxicity assessments

Experience with exposure modeling development and calculations

Extensive knowledge of applicable State and Federal guidance, rules and regulations

Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly with regard to writing technical reports and contributing to proposal preparation, project scoping, and project budget tracking

OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training. Current 8-Hour refresher preferred

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
