Position Overview
The Business Development Representative will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new client opportunities, with a primary focus on owner-direct sales. This role will involve prospecting, developing relationships with key decision-makers, and driving long-term business growth by securing new contracts and recurring revenue streams. The BDR will play an integral role in growing the company’s presence in the market and ensuring a strong sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Lead Generation
Identify and qualify potential clients through outbound sales activities, including cold calling, networking, and leveraging industry contacts.
Research and target potential clients within specific industries and segments to generate new business opportunities.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients focused on owner-direct sales.
Sales Strategy & Execution
Drive sales efforts to secure new clients and contracts, emphasizing owner-direct relationships and long-term partnerships.
Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach to closing, ensuring timely and successful contract negotiations.
Focus on driving recurring revenue through long-term agreements and repeat business.
Client Relationship Building
Develop and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at potential client organizations.
Understand client needs, challenges, and objectives, and tailor sales presentations and proposals accordingly.
Effectively communicate the value proposition of Integra’s services to potential clients.
Collaboration with Sales & Operations Teams
Work closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure a smooth handover of new clients, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
Provide feedback to internal teams on client needs, market trends, and potential service enhancements to improve overall sales strategy.
Reporting & CRM Management
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, leads, and client interactions in the CRM system.
Regularly report on sales pipeline progress, forecasts, and key performance metrics to management.
Track and analyze sales performance to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role, with a focus on owner-direct sales and recurring revenue.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving new business.
Strong ability to develop relationships with key decision-makers and close contracts.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Experience with CRM software and sales automation tools.
Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
