About The Role Altabank, Division of Glacier Bank, is looking for a Full‑time Loan Coordinator I for our St George or Grove Creek branch.

Role Provides a strong level of assistance to officers and customers with their loan requests, handling clerical and administrative support required to process and close customer loans. Demonstrates a strong understanding of regulations, bank policy, and loan processing procedures.

Essential Functions

Prepares loan documentation for approval and analyzes complex‑layer entity documents.

Requests closing documents, follows up with trailing documentation, and ensures timely book/fund processing.

Coordinates back‑up and administrative functions for loan officers and team.

Orders environmental reports, preliminary title reports and appraisals accurately and on time.

Reconciles insurance, collateral tracking & paid‑off reports and prints reports for loan officer review.

Coordinates and resolves audit issues and responds to loan audits accurately and timely.

Assists in processing paid‑out loans, prepares loan payoff quotes, posts payments, and pays invoices as needed.

Ensures all documents are scanned into the bank’s electronic storage accurately.

Complies with applicable laws and regulations including the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and OFAC.

Completes required bank training courses within assigned time frame(s).

Communicates with customers and prospects to reduce friction in loan production and portfolio management.

Collects, files, and organizes customer financials and information.

Interacts with business owners and other professionals promptly via email and telephone.

Collaborates with other departments to support loan production, documentation, and portfolio management.

Composes letters and memoranda and edits written communications.

Prepares construction/development draws as directed.

Maintains positive relationships with vendors, inspectors, treasury management, and intercompany personnel.

Tracks builder line usage, letters of credit, collateral releases, loan maturity dates, and other items per manager’s assignment.

Possesses knowledge of in‑built software and construction monitoring tools used by the bank.

Additional Responsibilities

Produce loan documents and new accounts promptly and accurately.

Process all payments, transactions, and wire requests on time.

Assist Lead in analyzing processes and procedures for improvement opportunities.

Maintain knowledge of the bank’s loan standards and government regulations.

Maintain a professional work environment and business‑like appearance.

Fulfill customer needs with safe and sound banking services at the highest level of care.

Keep management informed of area activities and significant issues.

Participate in community service and bank‑sponsored activities that support the mission and values of Altabank.

Provide proficient internal and external customer service, demonstrating courtesy and respect toward all customers.

About You Qualifications Experience One to two years of similar or related experience.

Education A two‑year college degree or completion of a specialized business or trade school course of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Knowledge

Strong knowledge of common Microsoft Office computer skills, including Outlook, adequate typing skills, and file organization within File Explorer.

Strong understanding of bank lending functions and the loan process.

Strong organizational skills to ensure detailed, complete, and accurate loan files in compliance with bank policy and procedures.

Understanding of real estate and construction terms and vocabulary.

Strong organizational skills and ability to multi‑task; works within the bank’s and department staff’s file storage and loan pipeline management structure.

Compensation & Benefits Starting salary is dependent upon relevant experience and may vary based on the geographic location of the position.
