Summary/Objective:
The Automated Manufacturing Vision Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting automated vision systems and software used for product quality inspection. Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain image processing programs for manufacturing quality assurance using proprietary languages. Develop and support software solutions using .NET technologies for automated inspection systems. Assist with installation and startup of automated image processing systems. Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions on production systems locally and internationally. Support and maintain image processing hardware and Windows-based PC systems. *The responsibilities are general guidelines; additional tasks may be assigned based on strengths and capabilities.* Preferred Experience:
5+ years of programming experience; object-oriented programming preferred. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with changing priorities. Experience with image processing systems and implementations. Proficiency with C#, VB.NET, Visual Studio, and relational databases. Desired Skills:
A quick learner who can quickly understand new information. Curious and eager to learn and face challenges. Thorough with a sense of urgency, emphasizing quality. Organized, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Detail-oriented, capable of following through on processes and tasks. Preferred Education:
