Aggregates Mobile Mechanic Amrize is recruiting for a full-time Aggregate Mobile Mechanic for its Oklahoma Aggregate locations, which will be based out of Stringtown Quarry.

What You'll Accomplish

As directed and guided by the Operations Manager, the responsibilities of the position include the following:

Maintains, inspects, and repairs mobile equipment according to instructions, equipment manuals, etc. Maintenance on plant equipment may also be performed.

Inspects mobile and plant equipment to ensure it does not require repair and disassembles and repairs machinery or equipment by replacing worn or broken parts.

Schedules and performs preventative maintenance on mobile and plant equipment by following the manufacturer’s recommended service intervals and internal equipment reliability experience.

Inspection of the condition and operation of the plant and mobile equipment, and perform necessary repairs and adjustments.

Provides leadership and/or guidance to less experienced mechanics on more complex or heavier assignments. Coordinate work to ensure that repairs are completed in a timely manner and in order of priority.

May train new employees.

Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

What We're Looking For

High school diploma or GED

Minimum of 3-4 years experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in the industrial environment

Must have a working knowledge of electrical and mechanical as well as the use of all shop equipment such as welding and machining equipment.

Additional Requirements

Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
