Maintenance Mechanic – 502311
FRITO LAY INC is hiring an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, and install pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, centrifugal and positive‑displacement pumps, and AC/DC electrical systems. The role requires reading schematics and using electrical testing equipment (volt‑ohm meter, amp meter, oscilloscope). Mechanical expertise includes lathes, mills, arc welders, and fabrication. Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical equipment.
Read schematics and use testing equipment for troubleshooting.
Operate lathes, mills, arc welders, and fabricate components.
Perform preventative maintenance and track work orders.
Respond to maintenance calls under pressure and ensure equipment uptime.
Document repairs and develop short‑ and long‑term maintenance plans.
Adhere to safety and company policies.
Qualifications
Minimum 18 years old.
Experience with mechanical/electrical repair in manufacturing.
Ability to lift 15–50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and in extreme temperatures.
Knowledge of high‑voltage wiring and multi‑craft repair preferred.
Electrical certification or welding experience beneficial.
