A Snapshot of Your Day: Join Siemens Energy as you take on the vital role of repairing and maintaining CNC machinery, Manual Controlled machinery (NC), and instrumentation. Imagine ensuring that our plant equipment operates at peak efficiency with minimal downtime. You will engage with complex electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and lubrication systems, diagnosing and correcting performance issues. Your expertise will help keep our machinery in optimum condition, contributing to our mission of delivering reliable energy solutions.
How You’ll Make An Impact
You will diagnose and resolve equipment performance issues across complex electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and lubrication systems.
Perform electrical preventative maintenance (PMs) using provided check‑sheets, setting alignment checking methods, evaluating data, and coordinating necessary adjustments.
You will install, repair, test, and calibrate intricate AC and DC electrical systems, including motor‑starting circuits, AC magnetic circuits, pilot device systems, pressure and limit switches, and solenoid valves.
Determine replacement parts and submit material requisitions to ensure seamless operations.
What You Bring
You have passed the Electrician A Test, showcasing your technical proficiency.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of Siemens 840D and Step 7 or Fanuc controls.
Familiarity and training in Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and high voltage systems.
You bring a minimum of 3 years of electrician experience.
A High School Diploma or equivalent experience is required; additional relevant military or school training accepted.
Your visual acuity is correctable to 20/40 and you can lift more than 25 pounds while passing a hearing test and a Career Readiness/Work Keys Certificate – Silver Status is required.
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer‑sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
