Job Description Macon HVAC, a trusted name in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning services in Macon, MO, is seeking an experienced ACHV HVAC Technician to join our growing team!

As an ACHV HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide range of HVAC systems for residential and commercial clients. This includes, but is not limited to, conventional heating and cooling equipment (gas, electric forced air, Mini Split systems, Air to Air heat pumps), and potentially geothermal heat pump systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers' comfort and safety, while upholding our high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair various HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork.
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems using advanced diagnostic tools.
Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal system performance and identify potential issues.
Connect systems to fuel and water supply lines, air ducts, and other components.
Install electrical wiring and controls, and test for proper operation.
Provide clear and concise explanations to customers regarding service needs, repair options, and energy-efficient solutions.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance functions and service calls.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Participate in on-call rotations for emergency service requests as needed.
Stay updated on the latest HVAC technology and best practices.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of a formal HVAC training program or apprenticeship preferred.
Proven experience as an HVAC Technician.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, blueprints, and schematics.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of energy-efficient and sustainable HVAC practices.
Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy equipment and working in various weather conditions and environments.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
