ClearanceJobs Piper Companies is seeking an IP Telephony Engineer to support a leading telecommunications company and assist with the migration from legacy TDM systems to modern VoIP/SIP technologies. The ideal IP Telephony Engineer must have an active Secret clearance and will be onsite in Fort Belvoir, VA 5 days per week. Responsibilities
Provide operational support for telephony systems across legacy TDM and IP-based voice environments. Assist with the transition of traditional telephony infrastructure to VoIP/SIP platforms. Participate in lab testing, system validation, and deployment activities to ensure readiness for production environments. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of voice services. Qualifications
5+ years of experience in telephony or network engineering supporting enterprise-level voice systems. Must be a U.S. citizen with an active Secret clearance. Strong knowledge of TDM telephony and VoIP/SIP protocols. Hands-on experience with telephony migrations, troubleshooting, and system upgrades. Compliance with DoD 8140 and possession of CompTIA Security+ certification. Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000 annually (based on experience). Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave (as required by law), and Holidays. Location
