Position Summary

The Warehouse Checker verifies the accuracy of orders being picked and ready for shipment, playing a critical role in maintaining stock accuracy and supporting efficient warehouse operations. Salary starts at $15 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify the quantity, quality, and condition of outgoing goods.
• Check shipping documents against physical items (e.g., invoices, packing lists, bills of lading).
• Document discrepancies such as shortages, damages, or excess items.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure correct items are picked and packed for shipping.
• Assist with periodic cycle counts and full physical inventories.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners (if certified).
• Follow all safety and security procedures in the warehouse.
• Report any irregularities or issues to the supervisor promptly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items (typically up to 50 lbs).
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, or overtime as needed.
