Key Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day execution of audit engagements for a variety of clients, ensuring adherence to GAAP, GAAS, and applicable regulatory standards. Supervise and support audit staff, providing training, feedback, and guidance to ensure professional development and high-quality deliverables. Design and review audit procedures, workpapers, and findings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with firm standards. Identify and communicate process improvements and best practices to enhance audit efficiency and client satisfaction. Serve as a key point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and delivering timely, value-added insights. Draft and present audit reports and findings to clients and internal stakeholders. Stay abreast of evolving accounting and auditing standards, as well as industry and regulatory updates.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA license required. Minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory capacity. Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and SEC reporting requirements. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with audit software (e.g., CaseWare, ProSystem fx) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
