What You Will Be Doing:
You will leveragedata science and geospatial technologiesto build predictive models and derive insights from large-scale datasets. This hybrid role focuses on machine learning applicationsfor urban growth, transportation systems, and resource management, while collaborating with both on-site and remote teams to support innovative spatial analytics solutions. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deploy machine learning and deep learning models for spatial data analysis. Perform data wrangling, cleaning, and transformation to prepare large and complex datasets. Conduct geospatial and statistical analyses using Python and related libraries. Createda data visualizations using tools such as Tableau, ArcGIS, or Plotly to effectively communicate insights. Manage and query geospatial databases using SQL and other tools. Support AWS cloud migration and big data processing initiatives. Collaborate cross-functionally to translate spatial data into actionable business intelligence. Utilize Apache Spark or Databricks to process large-scale geospatial data efficiently.
Required Skills & Experience:
Machine Learning:
3+ years of experience developing predictive models with large datasets. Geospatial Analysis:
Proficiency with spatial data tools and workflows (GeoPandas, Rasterio, Shapely). Programming:
Strong Python programming skills; experience with R a plus. Big Data Frameworks:
Hands-on experience using Apache Spark or similar frameworks. Cloud Platforms:
Familiarity with AWS services for data storage, processing, and deployment. Data Visualization:
Ability to present findings with Tableau, ArcGIS, or equivalent tools. Database Management:
Experience with SQL databases and managing geospatial datasets. Statistical Modeling:
Solid background in statistical and spatial modeling techniques.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Experience with Databricks for big data processing and analytics. Familiarity with GIS software for spatial mapping and analysis. Exposure to project management tools like Jira for Agile collaboration. Domain knowledge in urban planning, transportation, or environmental systems. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, data-driven environment.
Pay:
