CT Technologist – Night Shift (8:30 PM – 7:00 AM)

Huntsville, Alabama
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team for the night shift (8:30 PM – 7:00 AM). The ideal candidate will be a motivated professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services for both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and in accordance with departmental protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Perform high‑quality diagnostic CT scanning procedures, including but not limited to:
Head/Brain
Neck
Thorax
Spine
Abdomen/Pelvis
Extremities
Biopsy and drainage procedures
Conduct basic radiographic procedures, including:
Fluoroscopy
Portable and C‑arm procedures
OR imaging services
Ensure accurate processing of CT systems and maintain image quality standards.
Prepare and administer contrast media as required for studies with or without contrast.
Demonstrate proficiency in cross‑sectional anatomy and sterile techniques for surgical/sterile procedures.
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other team members to provide efficient, compassionate patient care.
Maintain compliance with safety standards, infection control, and all facility and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited AMA‑approved Radiologic Technology program.
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and CT.
Licensed by the State of Alabama as a General Radiographer.
Minimum 1–2 years of CT experience preferred (new graduates with strong clinical skills encouraged to apply).
Demonstrated knowledge of imaging protocols, contrast administration, and cross‑sectional anatomy.
Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
