As our
Software Engineer (Full Stack) , you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, leveraging and further developing your skills to guide groundbreaking AI initiatives.
How you will create impact As a Software Engineer (Full Stack) at AIG, you’ll play a critical role in designing, developing, and delivering scalable, high‑quality software solutions that solve complex business challenges. You will work in a dynamic, agile environment, collaborating with teams and leveraging AI coding assistants to create impactful applications that improve and innovate business processes.
Your responsibilities include
Collaborating with product owners and IT leads to translate high‑level business requirements into functional, well‑architected software solutions.
Developing new or enhancing existing user interfaces using AIG’s proprietary Angular framework to create seamless, user‑friendly experiences.
Writing and maintaining high‑quality, reusable code that adheres to AIG 's design patterns and coding standards, with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
Creating robust unit tests to ensure code quality, covering both expected and exception scenarios.
Building and integrating business services using MuleSoft, while adhering to AIG’s integration standards.
Working with Agile scrum teams to drive best practices, participate in code reviews, and continuously improve development processes.
What is needed to be successful
At least 3 years of experience using MuleSoft for developing and integrating enterprise‑level services, adhering to standardized design patterns.
Pro in object‑oriented programming languages such as Java or Python, with a strong background in developing software solutions for complex business problems.
Experience developing solutions within a microservices architecture using Spring Boot or similar technologies.
Hands‑on experience writing services that interact with relational and NoSQL databases, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
Comfortable with cloud‑native technologies such as Terraform, AWS Lambda, and API Gateways to build scalable, cloud‑based solutions.
Solid experience deploying solutions on major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), leveraging cloud‑native technologies like Terraform, containerization, and API Gateways.
Strong understanding of CI/CD best practices and hands‑on experience implementing automated build, test, and deployment pipelines.
Skilled in front‑end development, with experience using Angular or similar frameworks.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and strong collaboration within Agile teams.
It would be nice if
Passionate about innovation and continuously seeking opportunities to improve development processes through automation and best practices.
Enjoy mentoring junior developers and contributing to a culture of knowledge‑sharing within your team.
Experienced developing production‑quality code within modern product development processes and pipelines.
Solid understanding of authentication, authorization, and various security protocols (e.g., OAuth2, JWT).
