Position Description
As the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will lead our engineering team in driving process improvements, scaling production, and implementing advanced manufacturing technologies in our fast-growing chiller manufacturing plant. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop strategies that improve efficiency, cost, and quality while supporting business growth. You will be the main driver for automation and semi-automation activities. Be able to use lean and 80/20 as tools to move the business forward. Must be able to manage several projects at one time.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing and process engineers.
Lead complex process improvement projects to optimize production efficiency and reduce costs.
Develop and implement long-term manufacturing strategies, including automation and digital transformation initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, quality, production, supply chain) to launch new products and processes efficiently.
Drive Lean and Six Sigma methodologies across the plant to improve overall operational performance.
Manage capital investment projects, including equipment selection, implementation, and validation.
Develop and implement advanced manufacturing technologies.
Maintain and monitor KPIs to track productivity, quality, and engineering performance.
Other job duties as assigned.
Required Education & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in an industrial or HVAC-related field.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency with manufacturing simulation and CAD tools.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organization skills.
Proven track record of leading Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑growth manufacturing environment.
