Entry Level Site/Civil Engineer – Owings Mills, MD
Dewberry is currently seeking an Entry Level Site/Civil Engineer to join our Site/Civil department in our Owings Mills, MD office. Typical projects involve site/civil design for site based and linear utility projects for regulated utilities such as electric, gas, or developer-based projects.
Responsibilities
Site/civil development including grading design, roadway design, storm water management systems design, and erosion and sediment control design. Preparation of all associated calculations, reports and spreadsheets. Working on design teams in all aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans. May also conduct code research, write specifications, and obtain permitting. Required Skills & Required Experience
B.S. in Civil Engineering required or related degree. 0-2 years of relevant experience. Previous internship experience preferred. EIT is strongly preferred. Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is required. Experience with Water CAD and Storm CAD is a plus. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment. The projected range for this position is $72,000 - $78,000 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly. *At this time, Dewberry will not sponsor a new applicant for work authorization. *Dewberry is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
