General Job Description:

This position will collaborate closely with a dedicated Project Manager, reporting to the Sales Manager, and be responsible for the technical coordination of assigned projects. This includes fostering clear and consistent communication among all disciplines and project team members, including clients, architects, and vendors. This role offers the opportunity to further hone your expertise in estimating, scheduling, and design within our dynamic design‑built construction process, leveraging the latest technologies and BIM methodologies. None Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist the Project Manager with the following:

Writing proposals, letters, memos, subcontracts, change orders, and other documents related to project execution. Manage and/or significantly contribute to the development, maintenance, and submission of critical project documents such as RFIs, Submittals, Procurement Logs, Shop Drawings, etc. under the Project Manager's direction. Coordinate and participate in regular meetings both internal and external (i.e., kickoff, BIM, schedule meetings, etc.). Estimate tasks such as performing takeoffs, soliciting quotes from vendors and subcontractors, compiling complete bid estimates, and developing change order packages. Manage job progress and quality onsite as required, including leveraging design and construction expertise to solve emergent operational and installation challenges. Provide interpretation of technical plans and specifications. Handle purchasing processes including vendor and subcontractor buyout, procurement tracking, and delivery of purchased items. Perform project financial management responsibilities such as installation tracking, labor forecasting, invoice review, and billing development. Conduct job closeout activities such as submission of O&M, commissioning, As‑Builts, and warranty processing. Collaborate with the Project Management team to keep them informed on issues affecting project timeline and budget, and escalating potential problems to help drive resolution. Utilize ACCO standard engineering technologies and provide technical support for the construction effort, including participating in planning and design, interpreting the design, value‑engineering and alternate solution reviews. Develop and maintain viable relationships with partners outside of ACCO, including customers, prime contractors, trade partners, subcontractors, and suppliers. Foster a strong relationship with ACCO's internal departments (Construction, Fabrication Shops, Engineering, Accounting, Purchasing, Legal, etc.). Other tasks and duties as assigned by supervisor and/or upper management. Position Requirements:

BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Mechanical and/or related engineering concentration strongly preferred. Experience and career progression: Progression from Project Engineer I to Project Engineer II, III, or a Senior role is based on performance, experience, and demonstrated leadership potential. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project). Experience preferred in business systems software such as JDE, IFS, BidTracer, FastEst, Bluebeam, Box, Smartsheet, etc. ACCO Competencies:

This is a non‑exempt position, Monday through Friday. Work hours begin and end between 6:00 am and 5:00 pm, with a one‑hour break for lunch and two breaks. Eight hours per day are required, and occasional overtime may be necessary for business needs. Travel:

Based on business needs to and from the primary office, regional branch offices, and job sites. Work will vary in location. Competitive Wages:

$28.84 to $57.69 per hour.
