Key Responsibilities
Facilitates growth for the Bank through business development and management of client relationships, maintaining a record of significant revenue generation from sales and syndications.
Acts as an escalation point for complex client issues, using strategic problem‑solving to resolve conflicts and maintain strong relationships.
Leads the structuring of high‑value, complex deals, and credit approvals, ensuring alignment with client needs and bank objectives.
Oversees credit approvals and drives pricing coordination, acting as the primary client advocate.
Drives negotiations for high‑value, complex transactions, ensuring deals are structured to meet client needs.
Manages high‑value client portfolios, driving cross‑selling, retention, and profitability.
Implements cross‑selling initiatives, converting opportunities into revenue‑generating sales.
Leads market coverage strategies to expand portfolios, identify opportunities, and align with business goals.
Represents the bank at industry forums and conferences, leveraging insights on trends, competition, and emerging products.
Engages with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams to align strategies and address client needs.
Delivers reports to leadership on team performance, client satisfaction, market trends, and strategic initiatives.
Provides strategic advisory on loan products, options, rates, terms, and collateral requirements, tailoring solutions to clients.
Builds and maintains strong long‑term relationships with high‑value and strategic clients, providing strategic financial advice.
Structures deals, secures credit approvals, negotiates high‑value transactions, and identifies cross‑selling opportunities.
Analyzes market trends, client industry developments, and competitive positioning to inform strategy.
Co‑defines products, solutions, and strategies with internal teams to best fit client needs.
Identifies share‑of‑wallet opportunities and evaluates client returns proactively.
Ensures adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, and compliance policies.
Operates at a group/enterprise‑wide level, serving as a specialist resource to senior leaders and stakeholders.
Applies expertise and creative thinking to address complex or ambiguous situations.
Implements changes in response to shifting trends.
Other related accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications
10+ years of relevant experience in Commercial Bank Loan Syndications, Relationship Management, Account Management, or Portfolio Management in a corporate or segmented banking environment.
Bachelor’s degree required; Business Administration, Finance, and Accounting preferred. Other related disciplines or commensurate work experience considered.
For a Credit Qualifiable role: credit qualifications and associated knowledge per the credit portfolio requirements.
Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience, and industry knowledge.
Advanced proficiency in Project Management and Change Management.
Expert proficiency in Product Knowledge, Regulatory Compliance, Deal Structuring, Portfolio Management, Credit Risk Assessment, Customer Service, Stakeholder Management, Negotiation, and Customer Relationship Building.
Salary $122,400.00 – $228,000.00 per year. Salaried. Salaries may vary based on location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications. Commission structures may apply for eligible roles.
