As our
Assistant Director of Public Relations , you would build communications campaigns for our hair, skin and color cosmetics clients, which includes media relations, pitching stories, managing influencer/talent relationships, tracking content and project managing various ongoing activations.
Our ideal candidate has around 4‑6 years of experience in communications (brand or agency side), which includes campaign development, pitching experience, media relationships, solid understanding of editor/influencer culture and handling project tracking/reporting. Beauty/lifestyle experience preferred.

The Assistant Director of Public Relations role entails
Develop and implement comprehensive public relations plans/strategies aligned with overall marketing and business objectives.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging platforms and changes in the influencer marketing landscape.
Research and identify relevant editors and influencers based on specific campaign objectives and business goals.
Plan, coordinate and execute PR/comms plans from inception to completion.
Pitch editors and obtain placements for client products/launches, and set up interviews, desksides, lab/office tours, etc.
Create engaging and compelling briefs that outline campaign objectives, deliverables and key messaging for influencers.
Monitor and analyze campaign performance, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results.
Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights for continuous improvement.
Support internal and external initiatives.
You should be very comfortable with
Working with editors/media and talent
Extensive writing and presentation building
The Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Docs, Cision, Muckrack and influencer dashboards
A fast‑paced environment where attention to detail and follow‑through is crucial
