Job Description
Pay Range: $55hr - $60hr
The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions across multi-cloud environments.
This role involves automating infrastructure provisioning, managing CI/CD pipelines, supporting AI/ML workflows, and ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security across cloud and on-prem systems.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform across GCP and other cloud platforms.
Lead on-prem to cloud migration initiatives, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Python and other scripting languages.
Manage container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) for scalable application deployment.
Implement and enforce IAM policies, security best practices, and compliance standards.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud resources.
Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams to ensure seamless delivery across time zones.
Support multiple applications in a multi-cloud environment (GCP, AWS, Azure).
Troubleshoot firewall and networking issues in coordination with infrastructure, security, and networking teams.
Integrate and support AI/ML workflows, including model deployment, data pipelines, and resource scaling.
Document processes, configurations, and architectural decisions.
Required Skills And Qualifications
5–10 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation.
Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Python for automation.
Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
Solid understanding of IAM, networking, and cloud security principles.
Proven experience in CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance.
Experience in multi-cloud environments and on-prem to cloud migration.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Exposure to AI/ML tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Vertex AI, or Kubeflow.
Preferred Skills
Certifications in GCP, Terraform, or Kubernetes.
Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd.
Exposure to retail or enterprise-scale applications.
