Responsibilities
Make and package lab/pilot scale batches following instructions and safe lab practices.
Operate related equipment involved in making products from lab to production scale.
Review orders including raw materials availability and plan accordingly to meet product ship dates.
Carry out experiments provided by project leader or manager.
Collect and consolidate data during experiments and effectively communicate results with key stakeholders and colleagues.
Conduct raw material and equipment evaluations and make recommendations to promote product quality, process safety, and efficiency.
Support the scaling of the production process from pilot to high‑volume manufacturing with activities including the development of robust manufacturing instructions, validation of full‑scale batches, and training for manufacturing operators.
Conduct and manage shelf‑life study and provide updates to the team.
Enter process and product waivers as required.
Manage equipment calibration record.
Operate equipment and follow procedures in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree required in a STEM field; Chemistry or Chemical Engineering preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant manufacturing experience (3 years preferred).
Pilot production or scale‑up experience is preferred.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, staying abreast of industry trends and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
