As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical or petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security‑related incidents and create a secure environment for all personnel. What You’ll Do
Provide customer service by following security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner within the chemical and petrochemical environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor the premises for unusual activity, hazards, or conditions that may require attention or escalation.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and maintenance needs according to company and client protocols.
Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment through proactive engagement.
Remain alert and approachable while interacting with employees, visitors, and contractors at the location.
Minimum Requirements
Have a minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or security‑related experience or possess a college degree.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A college degree is required.
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
