Position Overview
The Center for Genetic Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time faculty member at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Professor in the area of human genetics and genomics. Tenure status will be determined based on qualifications.
Responsibilities Conduct a research program in human genomic variation as it relates to disease and therapeutic outcomes.
Qualifications Qualified candidates will have a Ph.D., M.D., or dual degree and expertise in genetics underlying human phenotypes and/or novel analytic approaches to generating and evaluating genomic data sets, including statistical genetics. Candidates should be collaborative, drawing from the rich resources of the clinical programs at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Lurie Children’s Hospital, and affiliated institutions, and be familiar with the NUgene Biobank and NUSeq Core Facility.
Start Date & Availability The start date is negotiable, and the position will remain open until filled.
