Territory Sales Manager - Long Island South
Job Locations: US-NY-White Plains | US-NY-Long Island
Short Intro and About the Job The full‑line Territory Manager – Pediatrics/GI will drive GI/Allergy and growth product sales in the Long Island South region.
Primary focus will be on hospitals, general pediatricians, pediatric GI, allergists, registered dietitians, and surrounding clinics while supporting local and regional initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Territory Management
Build partnerships with key customers and centers.
Consultative selling and promotion of products to medical practitioners, dietitians and nurses.
Plan and conduct in‑services, continuing education programs, regional meetings, and trade shows.
Represent Nutricia at relevant industry events and sales to home health care/DMEs within the region.
Business Planning
Develop and update the territory business plan with cross‑functional partners and the Regional Sales Manager.
Provide analytic insights into territory data, opportunities and issues.
Manage annual budget for territory activities and programs.
Deliver quarterly or bi‑annual business reviews with key strategic partners.
Account Management
Identify opportunities requiring a multi‑functional team approach.
Serve as the main point of contact for assigned accounts.
Utilize company tools to move toward set sales goals.
Administration
Document all contacts using Nutricia’s sales force automation tool.
Send monthly territory business updates to the manager.
Submit expense reports in accordance with Nutricia’s T&E policy.
Coordinate sample requests, budget, and field ride‑along objectives.
Miscellaneous Responsibilities
Communicate product benefits and benefits to health‑care professionals.
Attend corporate and national/regional sales meetings.
Resolve client problems and provide accurate reporting.
Training
– Complete ongoing training and testing for current and new products.
Other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions Remote from a home office; 20-30% domestic overnight travel, at least 90% time in the territory.
Occasional weekend travel for company meetings, trade shows, and conferences.
Lifting up to 30 lbs.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
3-5 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical, nutrition, and/or medical equipment industry, or 3+ years of clinical experience in healthcare settings.
Registered Dietitian (RD), Licensed Dietitian (LD) or Registered Nurse (RN) preferred.
Must reside in the assigned territory.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Advanced selling skills and polished presentation style.
Team player with a big‑picture perspective.
Clinical differentiation of products and oral communication of clinical data.
Strong relationships with customers and internal sales teams.
Interpret market research and sales data to make sound recommendations.
Develop strategic business plans and lead territory routing.
Entrepreneurial judgment and external industry network building.
Salary & Benefits Salary range: $90,000 – $115,000 USD.
