In all of this “cyber noise,” how can these organizations understand their risks and how to mitigate them? The answer is you. We need your knowledge as an information security risk specialist to help break down complex threats into manageable plans of action.
About the Role As an Information Security Risk Specialist on our team, you’ll assist Air Force or Space Force organizations with discovering their cyber risks, understanding applicable policies, and developing a mitigation plan. You’ll gather technical and personnel details from SMEs, engineers, and operators to help with the assessment of the entire threat landscape. You’ll guide your client through a plan of action with presentations, white papers, and milestones and help translate security concepts so they can make the best decisions to secure their critical infrastructure and mission‑critical systems.

You Have
Experience providing cybersecurity, engineering, or operational support, including supporting information assurance, network engineering, or systems administration
Experience evaluating the compliance of a system against RMF and DoD cybersecurity policies
Experience with DoD A&A processes and cybersecurity engineering
Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and the implementation of industry best practices
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Ability to obtain a DoD 8140 Certification such as CompTIA Security+, Cloud+, CySA+, CASP+, SANS' GSEC, or ISC2's CGRC Certification before start date
Nice If You Have
Experience working with the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)
Experience with enterprise networks, Active Directory, Linux, or Windows
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possession of excellent time management and analytical skills
Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
