The McGuire Lab is seeking a
Post‑Doctoral Fellow
to assist with identifying antigenic targets of neutralizing antibodies against human oncoviruses.

Responsibilities
Perform an in-depth characterization of the B cell and serum antibody response to EBV antibodies elicited by vaccination
Perform data analysis and prepare reports/manuscripts
Other duties as assigned
Expected to work independently with guidance from the Principal Investigator
Minimum Qualifications
Must hold PhD in immunology, or a related field
Experience with multicolor flow cytometry panels (>10 colors) and/or FACS
Experience with serological assays such as ELISA and viral neutralization
Must be willing to work with pre‑clinical animal models including mice harboring human immune cells under animal BSL2 containment
Expertise with live virus neutralization assays
Preferred Qualifications
Expertise in B cell immunology is highly desirable
Experience with molecular biology and biochemistry, including PCR, cloning, protein purification, and the analysis of protein‑protein interactions, is preferred
The candidate should have a proven track record of publication and strong written communication skills
Must be independent, show initiative, willingness to take up new skills and responsibilities, and be a team player
The candidate must be self‑motivated, able to multitask and to work within a very collaborative environment
The annual base salary range for this position is from $77,976 to $95,014, and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
This position is not eligible for H1‑B sponsorship at this time.
