Position Overview Systems Application & Technologies Inc (SA‑TECH) is a DoD contractor operating test ranges for the Army, Air Force and Navy. The role of a Targets Test and Training Specialist is located at Naval Base Ventura County, Point Mugu, CA.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Blue Water Instrumentation (BWI) and Low Speed Aerial Target (LSAT) ground operations.

Draft training syllabi, qualification standards and documentation updates for the Target Operations Division.

Plan, coordinate, brief and execute test activities for aerial and surface target platforms.

Coordinate operational phases of assigned programs, interface with national ranges, and support contractor demonstration tests.

Maintain and update SharePoint catalog, support web database tracking and proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint.

Qualifications

High School Diploma (required); Associate’s degree desired.

Prior experience in Military Aviation with rank E-5 or higher (required).

Strong computer, networking and MS Office skills; ability to learn SharePoint and web database tracking.

Excellent written and verbal communication; teamwork orientation.

Current CA Driver’s License; U.S. Citizenship; able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to start.

Background screening required (SSN, driver record, criminal background).

Work Conditions

9/80 schedule (Mon–Thu 9 hrs, alternating Friday 8 hrs off).

May be required to lift 20 lbs individually, 50+ lbs with assistance.

Travel may be required; overtime not routine.

Work primarily in enclosed buildings.
