This role is responsible for programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) using PC-DMIS software, conducting dimensional inspections, and supporting quality engineering initiatives to ensure product compliance with specifications and standards. The CMM Programmer / Quality Engineer - Manufacturing will be responsible for the following: Develop and maintain CMM programs using PC-DMIS for inspection of complex components and assemblies. Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections using CMM and other precision measurement tools. Analyze inspection data and generate detailed reports to support quality documentation and root cause analysis. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing processes. Support PPAP, FAI, and other quality documentation requirements. Lead or assist in corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities. Maintain calibration and verification of measurement equipment. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to quality and process control. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 / AS9100 or other applicable standards. The ideal CMM Programmer / Quality Engineer - Manufacturing will have the following qualifications: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field. 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality role, with hands-on CMM programming experience. Proficiency in PC-DMIS software is required. Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Experience with metrology tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and optical comparators. Familiarity with ISO, ASME, or aerospace/automotive quality standards. Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models. Experience with CAD software and importing models into PC-DMIS. Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis. Lean Six Sigma or other quality improvement training. Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., aerospace, medical devices, automotive). Job Offer
