RAYUS Radiology is looking for a MRI Technologist to join our team. We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. As a MRI Technologist, you will operate a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanner to produce images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes. You will guide patients through the exam process, provide leadership and technical support, and ensure excellent customer service. Part‑time role: every other Friday 12:30 PM–10:30 PM and every other Saturday and Sunday 2:30 PM–10:30 PM. Essential duties and responsibilities are focused on patient imaging, department support, and additional tasks as assigned. (80%) Patient Imaging

Performs routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated portions of the body with minimal supervision. Screens patients before exam for precautions or contraindications. Prepares patients for MRI procedures, explains the process, and positions patients appropriately. Adjusts scan parameters correctly and as needed. Maintains positive attitude and relationships with radiologists, referring offices, and peers. Communicates with doctors, nurses, patients, and family members as required. Follows physicians’ orders precisely and adheres to safety regulations. Maintains accurate patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS). Maintains an orderly, clean work area and promotes safety habits. Maintains ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements. (15%) Department Support

Maintains equipment in good working order; cleans and disinfects after each use. Assists with maintaining an updated MRI protocol manual and software upgrades. Monitors medical supply inventory. Assists with training new associates, providing resource and technical expertise. (5%) Other Duties

Performs additional assigned duties as required. Required Qualifications

ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing. ARRT advanced MR certification. Graduate of an AMA‑approved school of radiography. Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable. Current CPR certification. Training and experience sufficient to competently perform MR and/or radiographic procedures independently. Preferred Qualifications
