Under the general supervision of the Chief Imaging Technologist and with the assistance of a physician, the Senior Sonographer II performs a more extensive range of diagnostic ultrasound and intervention procedures, assists in the training and supervision of ultrasound sonographers, in clinical research studies, and orients and educates medical staff in theory and applications of sonographic technology. Qualifications
Associates degree or equivalent and successful completion of an approved curriculum in diagnostic ultrasound. Current and active registered diagnostic medical sonographer (RDMS) in obstetrics and fetal echocardiography. At least four (4) years of clinical experience in diagnostic obstetrical ultrasound. Skills
Demonstrates expertise in ultrasound guidance for invasive procedures as dictated by unit. Demonstrates proficiency in three- and four-dimensional imaging, obstetrical Doppler studies and fetal echocardiography. Salary Range
Minimum $41.70/hour - Maximum $68.85/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. Sign-on Bonus
