A family office company near Hollywood is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team! In this newly created role, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for multi-entity accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and assisting with processing AP. To be successful in this role, the Accounting Manager will need to have a roll up your sleeves attitude, be able to push back, and be able to deal with a variety of personalities of high-net-worth individuals. What do you need for this Accounting Manager role?
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
8+ years of accounting experience
Must have experience in family office, consulting, back-end accounting, or investments
CPA would be great
Advanced Excel
What will you do in this Accounting Manager role?
Lead financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the family office and its affiliated entities
Provide comprehensive oversight of internal accounting operations, including expense tracking, invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations
Manage the consolidation of financials across a complex structure of legal entities, including trusts, partnerships, and foundations
Support treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and working capital management
Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls and risk management protocols
Serve as a key liaison with external auditors, tax advisors, and legal professionals on financial and regulatory matters
Deliver financial insights and strategic analysis to the CFO and executive leadership team
Ensure adherence to GAAP, tax codes, and all relevant regulatory requirements
Assist the CFO in cultivating and maintaining relationships with financial institutions, investment partners, and banking representatives
Lead the deployment and continuous improvement of financial systems, tools, and technologies
