Position Summary
Heavy Housekeeper / Floor Tech – Responsible for the overall floor maintenance of hard surfaces and carpet of areas that include offices, resident rooms, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells, and other public areas. Also responsible for collecting trash/recycling/soiled linen and disposing of it in an outside/soiled linen barrel container. Additional outside work may be assigned, including policing grounds.
Safety – Utilizes protective gear in all appropriate functions; ensures safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions; reports equipment or cleaning product needs and malfunctions in a timely fashion.
Punctuality – Consistent attendance and punctual arrival; timely completion of assigned cleaning area according to schedule; responsive to the paging system.
Customer Experience – Positively represents HCSG by following instructions, being courteous, and cooperative with supervisor, co-workers, and client staff.
Resident Experience – Maintains positive, pleasant, and tactful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.
Qualifications
Demonstrates a positive attitude and follows oral and written instructions, performing routine, repetitive tasks daily.
After training, utilizes leadership skills to accomplish all responsibilities without supervision and without injury to self or others.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must be able to be at work as scheduled and on time.
Compliance with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies, as required by State, Local, and/or Customers.
Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
Must perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
Must work around food and cleaning products.
Must live in the service area.
