This role requires hands‑on development expertise and API architecture mastery. The ideal candidate brings extensive Spring Boot and microservices experience, excels in designing scalable and secure API ecosystems, and thrives in collaborative, high-demand environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and deployment of large-scale, high-availability APIs using Java & Spring Boot
Architect and optimize microservices-based solutions and distributed systems
Define API standards and best practices for versioning, documentation, and resiliency
Ensure secure API design with OAuth2, JWT, SSL/TLS and enterprise compliance frameworks
Collaborate with platform, security, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery
Drive performance optimization, load handling, and monitoring for mission-critical services
Mentor team members and support technical troubleshooting and solution delivery
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
5+ years professional experience in Java development with strong Spring Boot expertise
Proven track record architecting scalable, high-availability API platforms
Deep knowledge of RESTful API design, OpenAPI/Swagger, error handling, and versioning
Strong security implementation skills: OAuth2, JWT, SSL/TLS
Hands‑on experience with microservices and distributed systems architectures
Advanced proficiency with SQL & NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
Experience with DevOps/Cloud tools and platforms: Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP
Preferred Traits
Strong architectural and documentation skills
Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration abilities
Ability to drive delivery under tight timelines with a high level of ownership
