Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a contract position at a partnering hospital in Chicago, Illinois. This opportunity provides professional growth and rewarding patient care.
Job Description & Requirements Start Date: ASAP | Duration: 13 weeks | 40 hours per week | Shift: 10-hour nights | Employment Type: Travel | Specialty: CT Technologist | Discipline: Allied Health Professional
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols
Must have 5 years experience
Duties (Responsibilities)
Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety
Explaining scanning procedures to patients
Ensuring patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
CT Tech Contract Details
$2,520 - $2,738 per week
12‑week contract with possibility to extend
10‑hour shifts available, 40 hrs/week
